Working in ceramics and painting, Anna explores the human experience and memory of nature.

Sculpting with clay coils, slabs or by carving; delicate, earthy, ceramic works develop. The palette of raw clays and inky cobalt, ochre, black and rust has a grounding effect; the layered patina giving a unique surface. The forms are grounded and calming while others seem to be poised on the verge of movement.

Anna’s paintings are expressive and full of detail, they communicate a love of nature, and appreciation of its restorative, healing power.
